There are two things that hobos avoid like the plague: angry brakemen, and winter! Interestingly, hobos are quite resilient when it comes to the plague itself. The year is wrapping up, however, and winter is upon us, so any Hobo sighting is a rare one this time of year, but today we bring you two!

It seems that sometime recently Hobo wandered out from his usual hiding places. He’s been spotted in a connected video over at Minus where he appears to be in a box talking a bit about his first EP “From A to B,” among some other things. Check it out, and while you’re there, subscribe to the Minus podcast so you can stay connected and up to date with all things Minus!

Hobo has also been seen over at Ibiza Voice where he has charted the ten best tracks that he stumbled upon over the course of 2008. Check those tracks out and give them a listen the next time you’re jaunting through the dark.

Hobos are an elusive bunch. They come and they go, often vanishing without a trace. No one knows what it looks like, but a few people know what it sounds like.

From A to B – the debut record from Hobo is officially out on Minus in it’s physical form, today!

Crafted over a week long retreat during Canada’s frozen winter, the physical version of From A to B contains two tracks, Failsafe and Midnight, both of which are perfectly suited for any late night techno party.

Hitch a ride to your nearest record store or point your browser to Minus and grab this record while it’s hot.

Like on all journeys from one point to another, patience is rewarded with the eventual arrival at your destination. True to form, From A to B has yet to arrive in it’s entirety. Failsafe and Midnight can tide you over as you await the arrival of the remainder of the EP in its digital form, pulling into the station December 31st! Seven more tracks sure to satisfy both the ears and the feet.
